A couple of hidden gems you can visit from Rowlands Castle Railway Station are Stansted House, Rowlands Castle and St Hubert’s Church, Old Idsworth.Both are within 1.5 miles of the station and a very pleasant walk albeit there is no public transport from the station. Having attended a recent South West Trains Stakeholder event and seen changes at some of our stations we thought it worth highlighting some of the investment going on at some of our stations.At Liss new cycle parking facilities are to be installed. At Rowlands Castle new anti slip treads are to be placed on the passenger footbridge. This investment is welcomed by the East Hampshire Community Rail Partnership
